3% Cover the Fee

Discloser to the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) of political donations of $1,290 or more is required in accorance with the Electoral Act 2002 (Vic). Donations to the Australian Citizens Party (Vicotria Division) during a financial year must be disclosed when their combined value reaches the threshold. Once the threshold is reached, subsequent donations must also be disclosed, even if individually below $1,290. Political donations may only be made by Australian citizens, Australian residents or organisations with a registered business number.

Foreign & anonymous donations are prohibited and not accepted.

The Australian Citizens Party (Victorian Division) does not accept Corporate Donations.

Fight for affordable rents

For too many Victorians, rent consumes an ever-increasing share of household income. Families, pensioners, young people and working Australians are struggling to keep a roof over their heads.

We support a rent cap or freeze to protect tenants from excessive rent increases and provide greater housing security. Housing should be a place to live, not an endless source of financial stress. Your support helps us campaign for affordable rents and a fairer housing system.

Keep banking services accessible to everyone

When banks close branches, communities lose access to face-to-face banking. Older Australians, small businesses and others who rely on these services are left with fewer options.

We support establishing a publicly owned State Bank operating through Australia Post's retail network to restore accessible banking and provide a public alternative to the major banks. Your support helps us campaign for a banking system that serves Australians and communities, not just shareholders.

No corporate donations. Independent politics.

The Citizens Party does not accept corporate donations. We believe political parties should be able to stand up for ordinary Australians without depending on corporate money or the interests that come with it.

Our independence depends on people like you. Donations from individuals who share our commitment to practical solutions help us maintain an independent voice and campaign for policies that put the public interest first.
